I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Been reflecting a lot over the last few days about how great a guy Greg was and how fondly I remember him. He did a lot for our scout troop when I was a kid and he helped make a lot of young boys better men. I really enjoyed catching up with him a few years ago at Mr. R's funeral. I've even reached out to a few old scouting friends and everyone was saddened to hear the news. Hope it helps to know the reach he had and the force for good he was.

Mr. Olson was a positive force in my scouting experience. He served as my den leader in Webalos and served as our assistant scout master / interim scout master in Troop 555. Although he took his responsibilities seriously he made sure we all had a fun time. I'll never forget the time he had to canoe with me on our annual canoeing camp out. I was pretty new to the troop and I think we were both novices at canoeing. We were about 100 feet from pulling onto the shore for lunch when we went over a submerged stump and flipped the canoe. Lucky for him it was the only time I ever did it on the trip. Of course it was always a treat when he was able to bring a Hummer along on our camp outs and other scouting events. My experiences in Scouting are very important to me and it was an honor to have Mr. Olson be part of them. He will be missed.
