Ron was my colleague for 10 years at A.G.Edwards&Co, as well as in my men's bible study for many years.  He was a good friend and I will miss him very much.  Ron and I shared many ideas in common and would often chat together about news events and such.  I will miss those conversations.  Elizabeth and I will be praying for Doris and the rest of the family at this time.  May God's peace and grace surround you all.  We know that Ron is now face to face with his Lord and Savior, and we can take much hope in that!  Donald McLaughlin

Ron befriended us when we moved to town 30 years ago. Immediately I grasped that he was fine man and one I should try to emulate. He was a gentleman, reader, thinker, family man and disciplined.
It was a pleasure to know Ron and Doris.

We will miss seeing Ron at our Charlton family reunions.  We will remember Ron's great smile and how kind and positive he always was.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to Doris and the family.

Doris & Family:

Mike and I attended Maple Lane United Methodist Church at the same time as you and Ron. Mike and I have good memories of attending Maple Lane. We were a small close knit family at Maple Lane and we both liked that. You and Ron were always gracious to take on jobs at Maple Lane. We were so small at Maple Lane that it seemed like we all had jobs of some sort. That is what we needed to do to keep the church going. We extend our deepest sympathy to you Doris and your family.

Our whole family has been grateful that we knew Ron. Our folks, Gary and Shirley Sells, came across Ron years ago and he immediately became their "go to" person to advise them financially. Consequently each of their children also came to trust Ron and his advise. He was always interested in hearing their stories and enjoyed laughing with them and became a part of the family so to speak. Ron always went above and beyond and was the epitome of a gentleman.
We offer our sympathy to his family and rejoice that he made it home.

I had the pleasure of working with Ron briefly before he retired from Wells Fargo as a Financial Advisor.  Within my first week of being in the office Ron had offered to take me to lunch.  Ron always made me feel welcome and was a trusted resource who I often looked too for guidance.  Although Ron was a great resource for investment information, he was an even greater resource when talking college hoops!  Ron was noble gentleman and always sincere...he will be missed.

Thinking of you with much love. Ron always made us feel so welcome when we visited.  We so wish we could be there for his service.  Just know we will be there in spirit.
Love and Peace.
