Dear Nancy (and Frank) and Jim,
It is never easy to part with a parent regardless of the inevitable. I didn’t know Marge real well but do know that I admired her. I know she took her family and daily responsibilities seriously, as I learned from short conversations with her; and from what I heard from the two of you about growing up. Marge had a tough life, she raised her family on her own, after your father passed at a young age. My brother Frank shared his love and respecte her for her, and her toughness, her work ethic, her ability for providing for her family. She loved her God, family and community. She was very responsible. Your Uncle George once shared with me that he had the same admiration he had for his sister. I knew her to be God loving, hard working, and a well respected woman who raised two really nice children. She was a really good friend to my mother who loved Marge’s friendship and enjoyed being her neighbor when Marge moved to Mishawaka. I know that many lives breathed easier because Marge was here. She made a difference! May she rest in peace. Sorry for your loss.
