Ruth Stinson Dodgson, 88, of Greenwood, IN, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018, after a short illness. She was the daughter of the late Philip Kitle and Louise (Mullens).  She was born in Coalmont, IN.   

Also preceding her in death was her second husband Stanley Dodgson, her first husband John Stinson, with whom she had four children, and her son Steven.  She is survived by her children, LuAnn Kaczynski, Todd (Christina), Leah (Tim) Magnuson, her grandchildren Kelcey (Chris) Fullenkamp, Stephany Kaczynski, Ian Stinson, and Trey Magnuson; sister, Mona Pilant. She had three step-daughters, Susan, Jane (Earl) Reisdorf, Martha (Mark) Magliola and four step grandchildren, Ben Heroux, Hannah (Kathryn) Reisdorff Kendall, Rebecca Reisdorf, and Matthew Magliola.

She worked as an elementary school secretary for 17 years, was a teamster, an avid sports fan, and crafter.  She loved spending time with her family, doing crossword puzzles and reading. A Memorial service will be held 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, December, 4th, at Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Rd., South Bend, IN, 46635. Friends may visit with the family two hours prior to the service on Tuesday. Private burial will be held at Saint Joseph Valley Memorial Park Cemetery, Granger.
