Robert K. Crawford

March 26, 1948 – October 26, 2018

Robert “Bob” Karl Crawford, 70, of Osceola died Friday, October 26th in his residence surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born March 26, 1948 in South Bend to the late Mary Alice (Gregory) and Ralph Dale Crawford and was a lifetime area resident. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Sue Irwin and a grandson, Christopher B. Crawford. He is survived by his lifelong special friend Judy Gushwa; son, Mark B. Crawford (Corey) of South Bend; daughter, Laurie Lawson (Christopher) of Granger; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and his sister, Cheryl Jenner (Earl) of South Bend; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Bob was employed as a driver for the former Eckler-Lahey Lumber for over 33 years. Bob was an active member of Granger Missionary Church as a head usher and Men-In-Action ministry. He enjoyed assembling 50's & 60's model cars and had a passion for 57 Chevy's. He loved spending time with family and friends, and especially loved the post-Thanksgiving Day poker night. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

Funeral services to celebrate Bob’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 3rd in Granger Missionary Church, 50841 Birch Rd., Granger with Pastor Jason Dickinson and Pastor Tom Murphy officiating. Committal services and burial will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. The family will receive friends from 4 until 7 p.m. Friday, November 2nd in the Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Rd.
