SOUTH BEND, IN - Charles H. Cherry, 80, of South Bend died Tuesday in his residence. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; three children and eight grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 until 7 p.m. at Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Rd.

Chuck was such a wonderful man. Our boys were always in awe of "the Coke guy". Chuck was quick with a wave, a compliment, and on a few occasions, help when they over steered around the icy corner and slid a little close to the lawn!! Prayers and good thoughts to the family. You had a wonderful husband and dad!
