 Roberto V. Teneria
Dec. 20, 1968 - Sept. 5, 2015 MISHAWAKA
Roberto Valencia Teneria, 46, of Mishawaka, died Friday, September 4th. Mr. Teneria was born December 20, 1968, in Guanaguato, Mexico, to Guadalupe Valencia Hernandez and Albino Teneria Jasso, and had lived in Mishawaka since 1990, coming from Mexico. On October 28, 2006, he married Jennifer Wright, who survives. Also surviving are his children, Patricia Contreras, Jose Teneria and Alfredo Teneria, all of Guanaguato; two step-daughters, Kellie Kocsis (Jason) of Mishawaka and Erica Forkner (Riley) of South Bend; three grandchildren; his parents; and 14 siblings, all in Mexico. Roberto was an amazing person in every aspect of his life. When he first came to this country he had nothing but the clothes on his back. He worked so hard to build the life he had and he was proud of all of his accomplishments. If there was ever anyone in need Roberto would do everything he could to help them, even if they didn't ask for it. He found so much joy in the simple things in life. What Roberto would call respect, others would see as love. One of Roberto's greatest accomplishments in life was the lasting relationships he had. He will be greatly missed by family and his friends. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 14th, in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Rd., with Rev. Kevin Bauman of Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday in the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
