 Elizabeth M. Corner, 62 of South Bend died Tuesday March 24, 2015 in Hospice House. She was born October 21, 1952 in South Bend to the late Robert and Lillian (Steh) Kober. On June 24, 1995 she married Doug Corner who survives along with her daughter Virginia Cripe (Fred Gross) of Niles son Stephen Johnson of South Bend. Two sisters Sue Johnson (Randy Bartrum), Mary Jo Ames (Jerry) both of Mishawaka.
A niece Amanda Johnson-Perkins of Mishawaka and several nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was a loving Wife, Mother and Sister and her death will be remembered by all that knew her. She was active in the VFW auxiliary at post 1167. Friends may visit with the family Sunday from 2-6 p.m. in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home 521 N. William St. Cremation will be in the Welsheimer Crematory and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Funeral Home to defer Funeral expenses.

I send my sympathy and prayers to all of Liz's family. I saw her every Sunday when I came to Michiana Rehab to give Communion to the Catholics there. She was always in a good mood. So up beat and funny. She is in God's house now.
