Sara Nehring, 59, of South Bend passed away of natural causes in her home on Wednesday January 8, 2014. She is survived by her daughters, Britany Nehring-Lappin (Andrew) of Cassopolis, MI and Brianne Nehring of South Bend, IN. Also surviving are three siblings Kaern Kitzmiller, Susan Cornette, and Eric Houkal. Her brother R. John Houkal preceded her in death. She was born September 20, 1954 to the late Rudolph Houkal and Gladys (Weisenborn) Houkal. Dear Britany & Brianne:

I knew your mother through Peggy and during her time at Paragon. I remember her bubbly personality and beautiful smile. She often talked of you and dearly loved you both.

I am so very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
