Arthur Kime

September 10, 1928 – November 23, 2013

Former North Liberty resident, Arthur Kime, 85, of Spokane Valley, WA died Saturday, November 23, 2013. Mr. Kime was born September 10, 1928 in North Liberty to the late Lillian Marie (Kizer) and Elroy Kime. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn and Clarice; and brothers, Don, Howard, Elvin, and Dennis. His daughter, Cinda L. Kime of South Bend followed him in death one week later on November 30th.

He is survived by a son Cloid A. Kime, (Diana) of North Liberty, a daughter Christine Wolfe (Samuel) of South Bend; four grandchildren, Sondra Orsund (Don), Kelly Caverley (Dave), Scott Weldon (Melissa Horvath), and Daniel Wolfe (Keri); seven great-grandchildren; his loving companion, Rosemary Rowe Hamby; his brothers, Earl, Carl, and Russell Kime; the mother of his children, Laura Kime of North Liberty; and his extended family in Washington state.

Arthur graduated from North Liberty High School, Valparaiso Tech and retired from the Honeywell Corp. as a Maintenance Supervisor.

Memorial services for Arthur and his daughter, Cinda, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 7th in North Liberty Church off the Brethren with Pastor Don Carroll officiating. A luncheon will follow in the church where the family will receive friends. Cremation for Cinda will take place at Welsheimer Crematory.
