Patricia M. Roberts

March 1, 1929- July 23, 2013

 

Patricia M. Roberts, 84, of South Bend died Tuesday morning July 23,2013 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka.  She was born in Mishawaka to the late Edward C. and Martha L. (Castello) Airgood.  On September 18, 1965 she married George Roberts who died in 2007.  Surviving members of her family are Cousins John Schmidt (Karen) of Ellwood City, Penn., Marianne Keber (Ken) of Granger, Therese Veldman (Matthew) of Granger, Patty Zech of Benton Harbor, MI.,Jay Castello (Donna) of South Bend, Becky Zichterman (Rick) of Kalamazoo, MI., Dan Castello (Lori) of Hopkins, MI., Bill Castello of Battle Creek, MI., and Jeff Castello of Elkhart, IN. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory numerous 3rd. cousins.  She worked for many years as a secretary for an Electrical contractor in Suburban Cleveland Ohio.  Patricia graduated from Mishawaka High school in 1947 and loved her friends from school and was a member of the Alumni association of Mishawaka high school.  She had many hobbies as gardening, plants and Notre Dame.  She loved animals and especially her dogs Molly and Patches.  Patricia was a long time member of Little Flower Catholic Church and belonged to the Church’s Senior Circle.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday July 30, 2013 in Little Flower Catholic Church with Father Jeffery Largent officiating condolences may be made at www.welsheimer.com    igh.and burial will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.  Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to Mass in the Church.  In Lieu of flowers her request would be for Masses to be offered or a donation to the Church, Pet Refuge or the American Cancer Society.
