Hendrick “Rick” K. Waldron

May 5, 1934 – November 10, 2012

Hendrick “Rick” Waldron, 78, of South Bend, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012, in Healthwin Specialized Care. Hendrick was born May 5, 1934 in Chisholm, Minnesota to the late Hendrick A. and Josephine (Klune) Waldron. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Steve Waldron. Hendrick is survived by his six children, Thomas Waldron, and his son Stephen Waldron, of South Bend, Patrick Waldron, and his children, Nicole Waldron and Jaclyn (Jeff) Fox, of South Bend, Mary (David) Orr, and their children, Sean and Jennifer Orr, of Anthem, Arizona, Colleen (Mike) Bean, and their children, Taylor and Courtney Bean, of South Bend, Joseph Waldron and John Waldron, both of South Bend. Rick proudly served his country in the U S Navy. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, American Legion, former owner of Rick’s Super Foods on S. Miami Street., and had worked at Allied Stamping Products. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am Friday, December 7, 2012 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 52473 US 33 North, South Bend. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service at church on Friday. Private entombment will be held at Highland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Healthwin Specialized Care (Activities Department), 20531 Darden Rd., South Bend, IN 46637.
