David is survived by his daughters, Sherri (Dario)Martinez, of South Bend, and Hannah Rush, of San Antonio, TX, son, Steven Golob, of South Bend, step-daughter, Kimberly (Ken) Berry,of Lancaster, OH, nine grandchildren, Terisa Kvasnica, Eric (Sandra) Kvasnica, both of South Bend, Daniel Reyes, of San Juan, TX, Jose Reyes, Jennifer Reyes, both of Louisville, KY, Leah Garcia, of Union City, IN, Chloe Parker, of Granger, IN, Autumn Matson, of Indianapolis, IN, and Elizabeth Matson, of Mishawaka, nine great-grandchildren, sister, Judy (Charles) Freeman, of New Buffalo, MI, and brother, Louis (Karen) Golob, of Highland, Michigan. He was Everyman. He loved God and he loved people and he always did his best to be something good in the world. As far as for those of us who knew him and loved him, we can see that he truly succeeded. We will all miss him. There is now a vacancy that cannot be filled by anyone. He always believed in giving freely, because he knew we never owned. We are only Stewards of the riches that pass through our lives. The only way to honor his memory is to do the same as well as we are able. Until we meet again, thank you for being and for all that you taught us. David retired from South Bend Community School Corporation as a Plumber and Pipefitter. He was a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union #172 and the National Rifle Association.
