Carol, Karen and I were very saddened to hear the news of Roger's death. Please know we are praying for you and thinking about you. Roger was a great fraternity brother and an exceptional roommate. We had some great times, and, because of Roger, I gained a great appreciation and love of classical music because of the "large reel" tapes he would play when we studied. My brother Trip is going to miss a great golf buddy also. Please accept our sincere condolences.

Carol,

I was shocked and saddened to see Roger's obituary this evening. You may remember that Todd and I went to Washington together, and Roger and I became acquainted first through him being my Equitable agent then golfing together at the NAIFA benefit when I was with The Center for Hospice. I certainly enjoyed his company and although limited in amount remember it with fondness. Please know that you and family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

As a member of Wabash Class of 1968 and one who knew and respected Roger, I want his family and friends to know how very sorry I am to learn of his passing. We shared more than a few classes at Wabash and I considered him to be one of the students I truly admired. My impressions of the life he led are that he was a tribute to the standards we all strive to meet as Wabash Men. May God bless his family and give them strength. May Roger rest in peace. Respectfully Dan Vannatter, COL USA (Ret)

Doggone it, Roger. I can't believe I'll not see that million dollar smile of yours again. What a difference you made in the lives of everyone who knew you for even a little while. No doubt you are singing with the angels by now along with our good friend, Bob H.
Carol, please know that you and your family are being prayed for and through this time of sorrow. Blessings to you all.
