Charles F. Robison

Charles F. Robison, 66, of Mishawaka, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. Charles was born May 1, 1945 in South Bend, to the late Charles R. and Dorothy (Branson) Robison. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Nancy Brannan and Marjorie Smith. On March 30, 1991 in Mishawaka, Charles married Mildred, who survives. He is also survived by a daughter, Starla (Dean) Frakes of Caledonia, MI; sons, Richard (Shannon) Brand of Shelbyville, MI, Billy (Stacy) Brand of Littleton, CO; sister, Audrey Johnson of South Bend; eight grandchildren, Robert, Rachel, Renee, Megan, Nicholas, Lily, Esther and Grace; two great-grandchildren, Bryson and Brooklyn, and several nieces & nephews. Charles was employed by NIBCO in Elkhart as a foundry worker. He proudly served his country with the U S Army in Viet Nam and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was a member of VFW Post 360, in Mishawaka. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm. Friday, March 30, 2012, at Saint Joseph Valley Memorial Park Cemetery, Granger, IN, with Rev. James Campbell officiating. Military rites and burial will follow. Welsheimer Family Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Cremation has taken place at Welsheimer Crematory.
