Margarete Wild
SOUTH BEND - Margarete Wild, 96, of South Bend, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012 in Southfield Village. She was born October 29, 1915 in Germany to the late Emil and Emma Wild. Margarete received a Masters in Nursing and worked many years at Memorial Hospital and South Bend Schools as a nurse. She is survived by a nephew, Gunther Wild (Ingaborg) of Leipzig, Germany. She also leaves behind her very good friends Charley and Barbara Kelley of South Bend. Margarete loved traveling and visited many interesting places including Europe and Australia. She belonged to Indiana Retired Teachers Association. A memorial graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2012 in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. In Margarete's memory, contributions may be made to The Center for Hospice Care, 111 Sunnybrook Ct., South Bend, IN, 46637. Cremation has taken place at the Welsheimer Crematory.
