He is a member of First United Methodist Church in South Bend, and has served on many boards and committees, including the South Bend Heritage Foundation Board of which he is the past president. Bill's hobbies include: running, golfing, snow skiing and watching all sports.

o Held 7 investment and insurances licenses, including Series 7, 63, 65. Currently holds Indiana & Michigan Life, Accident and Health and Indiana Long Term Care. Scott is also one of the areas only CPC's or Certified Pre-Planning Consultants and is a Stephen Minister.

o Scott is a lifelong resident of the area. He has two children and two grandchildren. Scott is a veteran of the U.S. Army, 2/4th Infantry, Pershing Warriors and the Indiana National Guard, Combat Support Company, 2/151st Infantry.

He has two sons, two daughter-in-laws, one daughter, one son-in-law, twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Robert also had a daughter who passed away in 1985. He enjoys spending winters in Florida, collecting cars and trains, golfing and driving his 1966 Mustang Convertible. Robert retired from the South Bend Tribune after 40 years of employment.
